At some point, not sure how, I did manage to connect to the AP, its IP was 192.168.50.1, and noticed the OPNSense box showed up briefly in the clients list, also being 192.168.50.1 (!!). to 192.168.50.1 saved and applied ( 192.168.50.1 was the old address of my AP when it was running as router), and I can no longer access the router in any way, and have no internet. I then changed the IP for Lan1 in OPNSense from 192.168.1.1.
